Return and Refund Policy
Before returning your Eatwell set
Items may be returned and refunded within 30 days of purchase. If your Eatwell Assistive Tableware set should prove to be defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it. To obtain warranty service, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org Please be sure to include your return address, description of the product’s defect, receipt number, and any other information helpful or pertinent to the return. Products have to be in the original package. NOTE: For added protection and secure handling of any Eatwell product that is being returned, we recommend you use a traceable, insured delivery service. Eatwell cannot be held responsible for in-transit damage or for packages that are not delivered to us. Lost and/or damaged products are not covered under warranty. Your Eatwell Assistive Tableware set has been manufactured to the strictest specifications and has been designed for use only with authorized accessories and replacement parts. This warranty expressly excludes any defects or damages caused by attempted use of this unit with accessories, replacement parts or repair services other than those authorized by Eatwell. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by accident, misuse, shipment, or other than ordinary and intended household use. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of these damages, so these exclusions may not apply to you. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Important: If the nonconforming product is to be serviced by someone other than an Eatwell Authorized Service Center, please remind the servicer to contact us at email@example.com to ensure that the problem is properly diagnosed, the product is serviced with the correct parts, and to ensure that the product is still under warranty.
How soon can I get a refund?
You should expect to receive your refund within 3 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days),
the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (1 to 5 business days). If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions on how to return items from your order.
About your international return
For all international orders, you may be asked to pay additional duties and taxes. The amount is not a fixed rate and it is determined by the customs of your country. You are responsible for the fee and the money is not able to be refunded. If the product failed to be cleared and returned, we are not responsible for a refund of the shipping but the product value.
WARRANTY Limited 18-Month Warranty This warranty is available to consumers only. You are a consumer if you own an Eatwell Assistive Tableware set that was purchased at retail for personal, family, or household use. Except as otherwise required under applicable law, this warranty is not available to retailers or other commercial purchasers or owners. We warrant that your Eatwell Assistive Tableware set will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 18 months from the date of original purchase. In the event that you do not have proof of purchase date, the purchase date for purposes of this warranty will be the date of manufacture. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ONLY: California law provides that for In-Warranty Service, California residents have the option of returning a nonconforming product (A) to the store where it was purchased or (B) to another retail store that sells Eatwell Assistive Tableware products of the same type. The retail store shall then, according to its preference, either repair the product, refer the consumer to an independent repair facility, replace the product, or refund the purchase price less the amount directly attributable to the consumer’s prior usage of the product. If neither of the above two options results in the appropriate relief to the consumer, the consumer may then take the product to an independent repair facility, if service or repair can be economically accomplished. Eatwell and not the consumer will be responsible for the reasonable cost of such service, repair, replacement, or refund for nonconforming products under warranty. California residents may also, according to their preference, return nonconforming products directly to Eatwell for repair. Eatwell will be responsible for the cost of the repair, replacement, and shipping and handling of such nonconforming products under warranty.
