Hello Dear Supporters,
After two weeks, our molds have finally been completed and received our testing models! After adding our imprint to the bottom of our bowls, we think our Eatwell set looks great.
During this time, while working with our manufacturers on the molds, we have been talking to various government agencies and customs brokers, and researching the various certifications and regulations that we will need to pass to be able to ship to all of our international supporters. This is an extremely lengthy process since every country/region has different standards that we will need to meet.
To expedite the process as best we can, we will be using FDA approved PP, TPE, and sillicon materials to make sure our loved ones eat safe. For the head of the spoons, we are using 304 grade stainless steel. We expect our products to also be BPA free, Phthalates free, and RoHS.
We have started the testing process with one of the biggest testing agencies in the world, to be able to confirm the safety of materials that we have chosen to use. We have been told that testing will take 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to start the process until we received samples that we approved, which took longer than we expected.
We know the wait has been longer than anyone hoped for or expected, but we will be sending out emails to confirm delivery addresses (again) next week, so please watch for them!
